The Grande Pâture campsite is located at the gates of Anjou and Touraine, ideal for visiting these two beautiful regions. With family or friends, explore the regional landscapes, stop at a castle, admire the splendor of the Loire river, and enjoy the mild climate.
30 minutes from the zoos of La Flèche and Doué-La-Fontaine, you can enjoy great family outings. In Saumur, you will find wonderful restaurants to dine in, beautiful cellars to visit such as Veuve Amiot, one of our partners, as well as the splendid castle overlooking the town.
Discover the Brière Regional Natural Park, a magnificent natural site located in the south of Loire-Atlantique, home to a wide variety of landscapes such as forests, islands, and marshes. You can go hiking, cycling, canoeing, and observe the wildlife and flora (2 hours drive away).
Fellow anglers, you will find, next to the campsite, two private fishing ponds open to the public during the fishing season. These ponds are accessible at the price of 7€ per day for three lines.
A 3-minute walk away from the campsite, you will find a supermarket where you can do your shopping, and a little further a bakery and a tobacconist. You can park your vehicle at the campsite and not use it again during your stay if you want !
Wine lovers, our campsite is located not far from the vineyards of Saumur, Bourgueil, and Chinon. Many beautiful wine estates are to be discovered in the Loire Valley! Do not hesitate to make our campsite your base to visit the Loire castles and all the treasures that our magnificent region holds…
